When to Call for Water Heater Help
No hot water, lukewarm only, or water that runs hot then cold often means a failing heating element, sediment, or a thermostat issue. Leaks from the tank or around fittings can worsen quickly—pooling water or dripping from the bottom are reasons to call. We treat major leaks and complete loss of hot water (especially in winter) as emergency plumbing and respond 24/7.
Tank vs. Tankless
We work on both conventional tank water heaters and tankless (on-demand) units. Repairs might include elements, thermostats, relief valves, and gas or electric components. When repair isn’t cost-effective or the unit is near end of life, we’ll recommend replacement and give you a clear quote for install.
Before We Arrive (Leaking Heater)
If the tank is leaking, turn off the water supply to the heater and turn off gas or power to the unit if it’s safe. Don’t turn electrical switches on or off in standing water. We’ll diagnose and recommend repair or replacement when we’re on site.
